Transistor Review

It was only natural that Supergiant Games develop a new game after the runaway success of Bastion, the studio’s debut action RPG. Their second game Transistor trades fantasy for science fiction and tells the tale of Red, a singer in the futuristic city of Cloudbank whose voice is stolen from her. Red comes into possession of the Transistor, an intelligent and mysterious sword after it was impaled into a good friend. Her actions gain the attention of a robotic intelligence called the Process which is being controlled by the Camerata, a society of Cloudbank’s high ranking officials. Red, alongside the voice of her friend residing inside of the Transistor, must stay alive to reverse the deadly changes made to her beloved city.
